Razz Poker Focuses On Low Hand Winning

Razz poker is a form of poker game that really deals with the lower hand winning the pot. This game is also known as seven-card stud low because it resembles the same of stud game in which high-end is the winning hand. In stud game aces are high end cards whereas in Razz aces are low. The play is as same as that of stud, forced bet in the first round and in all other subsequent rounds the low hand acts first. Here, straight ranking and flushing will not work out, so wheeling is the winning slot (5-4-3-2-A). The game is played with eight players and seven cards in which five cards complete the betting. It is a limit betting game which means to be played with a fixed amount. Two cards are played face down and one card as face-up where the face-down cards are hole cards. (more…)

Hi-Low Is The Most Played Omaha Variant

Omaha hi-low is a very popular game among all poker games. It is very similar to that of Texas Holdem. Here in Omaha the player can dealt with four cards but it is two in Texas holdem. The main rule is that the player should show down two hole cards and three community cards whereas it is one and four in Texas holdem respectively. The small blind and big blind rules are same in both Omaha poker and Texas holdem. The hole and community card ranking can make the game complicated as it results in straight and flush ranking. If there is no house dealer is provided then a button is placed in front of a player which will be white disc. Ace To Five Hand Can Win Both High And Low In Hi-Lo Games

Pot is the central place where the entire betting amount is collected. In traditional poker the whole pot was awarded to the best hand. But in its variants the best low hand also gets rewarded for which the pot is split into two and called as hi-low split. This high-low is played in two different methods, declaration and cards speak. In a declaration part the players can declares for the high or low end, by verbally or by chips. Here lowest declared among all the players and highest declared among all the players share the pot into half. Draw Games Permit Replacement Of Cards

Draw game is that allows a player to discard a certain card that doesn’t help in the game and draw a new card from the deck. This also helps the players to guess the type of cards that a player hold in his hand. It is the dealer who determines the number of cards to be drawn by the player. Community Games Have Shared Cards For Draw

The poker game that use shared or window card is called community card poker. The main community card poker is Texas holdem originated in 1920s. A set of community cards is known as board. In Texas holdem up to 23 players can play in a single table. In first round each player is dealt with two cards down.
